In 1996 we were the first company in Finland to receive the RAKLI-SKOL-ATL certification for our
Intergrated Management System.
history
In
the early stages we concentrated on the technical quality of design solutions
by preparing design instructions and standards. The know-how of our staff was
developed in weekly "lessons". At the beginning of the 1990's we
extended our viewpoint from the quality of product to the quality of
operations. We documented our policy quite in the spirit of ISO 9000 into a
quality manual and operational procedures. In 1996 our quality assurance
system was assessed and as a result RAKLI-SKOL-ATL certificate nr 1 was granted to us. (RAKLI, SKOL and ATL are the Finnish associations of construction clients, consulting firms and architects offices.)
2000's
ISO
9000 -standards have been revised. Succesful companies use quality prize
criteria for evaluation and development of their operations. The common
feature in both frames of reference is the principle of quality management
that is also being applied by us.

Our
business premises, industrial building and steel structures units in Espoo and
the Pietarsaari unit are responsible for the production of design and
consulting services. The teams whose members represent the staff of the
different units at all levels of the organization are responsible for the
development of the services and operations (processes) in their own scopes of
responsibility.

Our
most important processes include selling the services, project control and
structural design of concrete, steel and other structures. Our most important
supporting processes include strategic, operative and human resource
management. The demands made by us on the processes and the ways to control
them are defined in our IMS manual and operational procedures.
